- 6. HOW TO MAKE THE MATTRESS HOLD AIR? After inflating please make sure the cover is PARALLEL then press ALL the cover down HARDLY, so it will more tight and no crack between cover and valve, It's very helpful to prevent leakage. Because we have tested so many times, put around 380 lbs goods over it for 36 hours and without leakage, it shows nearly the same as the beginning!
